If you have not yet registered for the California Supplemental Exam, this tutorial will walk you through the registration process.
The California Supplemental Exam (CSE) for landscape architects is the last exam that you are required to pass before you can get a landscape architect license in the state. It is easy to register for the CSE. Here is a step-by-step guide to register for the CSE exam.
Go to the Landscape Architect Technical Committee (LATC) website at http://www.latc.ca.gov
Click on the California Supplemental Exam link on the left-hand side of the page. This will take you to the CSE application form.
Download the California Supplemental Exam application.
Step 4: Complete the application.
Fill in your personal information on the first part of the application.
Make a check or money order out for the application fee and exam fee. You must pay with either a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check. Unfortunately, you cannot pay with a credit card or online (yet).
Next, disclose any criminal convictions you may have had. You may have to provide documentation and additional information to satisfy this requirement if you have a criminal history.
When you have completed the application, sign and certify that all the information is true. Mail in the form with the check or money order and wait for the LATC to notify you that you can register with PSI (the test provider) to take the CSE.
Step 5: Download the Candate’s Guide pdf and learn more about the CSE exam.
